New RSGB membership portal rolling out on Monday

RSGB_Logo1400pixAfter having recent contact with the RSGB IT help-desk on a number of occasions recently regarding the update of clubs contact and supplementary details to be displayed on the RSGB website, some useful information has come to light which will be of great benefit to RSGB affiliated radio clubs.

According to the RSGB’s IT Help-desk who are particularly busy at the moment with the new Membership Services portal roll out which is scheduled to be given the green light coming next week, word came through that clubs will now be able to update their club contact details easily meaning that there is now no chance for any club to have out of date information displayed on the RSGB site.

For some time, the ability for clubs to update their details themselves has not been available but as of next week, Monday 3rd November at 9am, a technological buffet of improvements and new features will be available to clubs on the RSGB site.

If you run an RSGB affiliated radio club and want to make sure that your details are up to date you will not have to wait long, and the benefit of being able to make quick changes to club information ‘on-the-fly’ will no doubt be welcomed with open arms.

The new RSGB Membership Portal goes live at 09.00 on Monday and all you need to do is log into RSGB Membership Services with your club’s call-sign and membership number to gain access to these new features.

Membership Renewal Reminder

This is just a polite reminder to a small number of members who have allowed their club membership to lapse and as such, Ron Deeprose the clubs Treasurer and Membership Secretary would like to follow this up to ensure that they continue to recieve their monthly copy of Vital Sparks and renew their membership should they wish to do so.

New and existing re-newing members can print the clubs membership form and send it through to Ron using the details below or contact him to discuss the matter if you wish.
